Parents   >   PTO

The Sacred Heart School PTO is a network of parents who are actively involved in supporting the school by providing the manpower for fund-raisers and special events at school.  The purpose of this organization is:

• To promote communication and a spirit of friendship and cooperation among the administration, teachers, school board, and parents.
• To raise and distribute funds to support Sacred Heart School.
• To organize volunteers for all PTO Standing Committees, other volunteer programs, and all PTO fundraising projects.

Every parent is encouraged to become involved in the PTO, and to actively work to empower this organization to be a tremendous success and asset to the school.

As the Sacred Heart School Parent Teacher Organization (PTO), we rely on dedicated, enthusiastic volunteers throughout the year to run numerous events. 

Parents volunteer their time to serve as room parents, assist with book fairs, sponsor staff appreciation events such as luncheons, Christmas gifts, and birthday recognition.

In addition, each year the PTO sponsors and organizes the fall fundraiser Oktoberfest, which is held the first Saturday in October.  The Oktoberfest funds provide significant financial support to the school. 

In the past, the PTO has been able to purchase items such as playground equipment, hardware and software for the library automation, educational software, cafeteria equipment, and sports equipment.

Through these efforts, the PTO strives to enhance the sense of community and we invite you to be part of the experience.
